How long have you been working at TGI? What do you do?
I have been working for TGI since November 2013 as a JavaScript/HTML/PHP Software Developer.
I first began working on a project involving geo-tracking and then I took part in “yard management” module design and development.
This module aims to represent containers in a at scale yard and in real time .Today, I manage a team of software developers.
What are the skills required to be a software developer and manager?
To manage the teams, you have to be a good communicator and remain attentive to them. You also need to be rigorous and curious regarding the different programming languages.
What motivates you in your job?
Towards our clients, it’s to help them manage more efficiently their terminal. Here, at TGI, it’s also the collaborative aspect, the collective emulation.
What is OSCAR’s driving force?
Its adaptability. OSCAR is installed for customers who have various typologies.
What is TGI’s driving force ?
The individual support that we propose. Our knowledge for the maritime sector allows us to assist our clients in their process optimization.
What are your hobbies?
I love theatre and cinema (from the auteur film to comics) and music (i’m sound-engineer of a Celtic rock band). I also belong to an association which promotes the bicycle as a daily travel mode and acts to local communities and general public in that way.
If you had to chose a mentor, anyone, who would it be and why?
My father for its simplicity, curiosity and its tenacious mind in all stages of its life.
